Scotgold Resources Ltd Statement on COVID-19
Scotgold is pleased to announce that following the announcement relating to construction activities by the Scottish Government on 11 June 2020, construction and development activities resumed as of Monday 15th June and full mining activities resumed as of 8th July 2020
All work is being undertaken in accordance with the COVID -19 Standard Operating Practices the Company has developed in line with Government and sector guidance. To facilitate this the Company has established additional infrastructure, such as welfare facilities, and actively monitors compliance..
The Company is pleased to report that there were no redundancies as a result of COVID – 19; all furloughed staff have now returned to duties and the Company is actively recruiting as we look to complete development and ramp up operations.
