Scotgold Resources Ltd are a ‘Foundation Funder’ for The Loch Lomond and The Trossachs Countryside Trust.

The Trust combines the expertise of the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park Authority, Scottish Forestry and Scottish Natural Heritage with a combined aim to actively support conservation and improve both landscape and ecology of the National Park.

As part of this process the Trust works to boost and enrich visitor experience of the countryside and to support works carried out by other organisations located within the National Park.

Mining Association of the United Kingdom

“The Mining Association of the United Kingdom (MAUK) was founded in August 1946 and its members are predominately the non-energy industrial mineral and precious metal underground companies and other associated institutions.

The Association was established to represent and promote the interests of the industry and this remains its mission today with  focus on the Environment and Health & Safety.

MAUK is also represented on the Minerals Committee of the CBI and is consulted directly by Government Departments and other authorities on proposed changes in legislation and regulation that may affect the industry.  The Association is also a member of Euromines (the European Mining Federation)”

MRS Training & Rescue Service

MRS Training & Rescue  (formerly known as Mines Rescue Service) provides a Mines Rescue Scheme, to a range of mine operators across the whole of the UK.  The company has been established for over 100 years and has developed specialist skills, experience and knowledge gained from working in difficult and potentially dangerous environments, to effect the rescue and escape of mine workers from underground.

It is also approved by the award organisation as an assessment centre for confined spaces and emergency rescue training.

Their team of experts have been providing specialist high risk rescue services and consultancy to SGZ Cononish Ltd, delivering scalable solutions which will assist us in ensuring that we keep our miners safe in the working environment, as the project continues to progresses towards full production.
